Great Review of Swan Place on!

Hello, everyone! I was so pleased to check out the Swan Place product page on the other day, and to discover that a listener had posted this lovely review:

Thank you so much, “DD”!! What a wonderful and encouraging accolade! Excellent praise for Augusta Trobaugh’s superb storytelling and writing. She definitely deserves it. And I am feeling more honored than ever to have been able to be the voice that gets to narrate this lovely story.

Thank you all for listening! 😉

It’s that time of year again…

Time for another little celebratory birthday post in honor of Richard Armitage. I know I’ve said it before, but it certainly bears repeating. If I could be coached and/or mentored by one actor specifically in regards to stellar audiobook narration, it would be him. He’s a role model to me, not only for his tremendous talent, but also for his excellent person and character. An exemplary celebrity, who truly deserves to be celebrated.

That said, instead of posting an extremely long descriptive – especially as, since last year at this time, he has now become a worldwide household name (or at least, face) for his role as Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit – I decided to simply post a link to one of my most favorite recent interviews of him. If you have a few moments to watch, I think you will very much enjoy it.

Popcorn Taxi: Interview with Richard Armitage (The Hobbit Q&A)

Just one more thing left to say, so I’ll conclude with this:

A very beautiful and blessed 42nd, Mr. Armitage! And many happy returns of the day!

An Interview

Kara Louise, author of Pirates and Prejudice, has posted an interview of me on her blog! In it, she asks me how I got started in voice acting, what work I’ve done in the field, and the like…and then I excitedly ramble on about the topic for quite some time. 😉

I had loads of fun responding to Ms. Louise’s questions, and I’m truly honored to be featured in her post. If you’d like to read it, you can check it out here.

Thanks, everyone! And have a lovely day.

Swan Place audiobook now available on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes!

I am very pleased to announce that the audiobook production of Swan Place has now been released on,, and iTunes!

The process of narrating and producing Augusta Trobaugh’s beautiful novel was truly a labor of love. I’m overjoyed to see all the hard work finally come to fruition.

If you’d like to have a listen, check out the audio sample here. If you like what you hear on the sample, and you decide to purchase the audiobook, I’d absolutely love to hear what you think of it! (Please feel free to comment, either here or on Facebook at Voiceovers by Tiffany Halla Colonna.) I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed voicing Augusta Trobaugh’s wonderful narration and characters. What a journey it’s been! And very well worth it.

Have a lovely day, everyone!

New Audiobook in Production: Pirates and Prejudice by Kara Louise

Production has begun on my latest audiobook project, Pirates and Prejudice, a fantastic new Pride and Prejudice variation novel by fiction author Kara Louise!

Kara has written several wonderful books in the Jane Austen variation genre. And it’s no wonder that they have done so well! She is a talented writer who knows how to weave a thrilling – yet believable – plot, and how to craft a storyline full of endearing characters that get right to the reader’s heart. Pirates and Prejudice, her latest novel, offers a truly riveting, swashbuckling tale. The story takes our beloved hero and heroine out on the open seas for an adventure fraught with mistaken identity, shipwreck, swordplay, and dangerous run-ins with ruthless pirates! But Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy face an even greater challenge through it all…to forgive the past and embrace a future that’s well worth fighting for.

Here’s a synopsis, as provided by

“After Elizabeth Bennet refuses Mr. Darcy’s offer of marriage, it takes a heavy toll on him. He withdraws to London and disappears near the docks, away from family, friends, and acquaintances. When he is mistaken for an escaped pirate, he is thrust into an adventure he would never have imagined. Will this be what he needs to forget the one woman he had come to love?

When her aunt and uncle have to cancel their plans to tour the Lake District, Elizabeth Bennet has the opportunity to sail to the Isles of Scilly with her father. After a pleasant visit, the voyage home brings storms, a shipwreck, and pirates! When she is rescued by gallant Captain Smith, she finds herself inexplicably drawn to him. What will she do when she discovers he is the very man whose offer of marriage she refused just a few months earlier?”

I am a loooongtime Jane Austen fan – and, truth be told, a longtime fan of Jane Austen fanfiction, as well! I am, therefore, thoroughly thrilled about this opportunity to narrate this enjoyable and engaging JA variation story. I’ll be posting updates, both here and at Voiceovers by Tiffany Halla Colonna, so check back in to see how the project is coming along!

Avast, me hearties! Yo ho!!

(Thanks so much for reading, everyone.) 😉
