Time for another little celebratory birthday post in honor of Richard Armitage. I know I’ve said it before, but it certainly bears repeating. If I could be coached and/or mentored by one actor specifically in regards to stellar audiobook narration, it would be him. He’s a role model to me, not only for his tremendous talent, but also for his excellent person and character. An exemplary celebrity, who truly deserves to be celebrated.

That said, instead of posting an extremely long descriptive – especially as, since last year at this time, he has now become a worldwide household name (or at least, face) for his role as Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit – I decided to simply post a link to one of my most favorite recent interviews of him. If you have a few moments to watch, I think you will very much enjoy it.

Popcorn Taxi: Interview with Richard Armitage (The Hobbit Q&A)

Just one more thing left to say, so I’ll conclude with this:

A very beautiful and blessed 42nd, Mr. Armitage! And many happy returns of the day!
