The Importance of Being Earnest

A quick post for today.

I just remembered another newly published project I’d wanted to share here. The most recent reading of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest. A fabulous play by one of the most brilliantly profound and hilarious playwrights in English literature. And to top it off, I was asked to narrate this one! Quite an honor, and loads of fun. But I will admit that I had to pause frequently during my recording amid bouts of laughter. Just couldn’t keep a straight face while scanning through the laugh-out-loud dialogue to get to each narration line. Many of my favorite LibriVox readers (lovely individuals, all) have roles in this one, which, to my way of thinking, makes it all the more fantastic a production.
